MS Screws

MS Screws

MS screws are aerospace screws made to Military Standard (MS) specifications. Each MS part number defines the head style, drive, thread, material, and finish. Monroe Aerospace stocks MS24693 100° flat countersunk machine screws, MS24694 structural flat head screws, MS27039 pan head structural screws, and MS35206 and MS51957 pan head machine screws. Many MS screws replaced older AN parts: MS24693 replaced AN507, and MS24694 replaced AN509. Most are available in cadmium-plated steel or corrosion-resistant steel, shown by a letter in the part number, such as S for cadmium-plated steel or C for corrosion-resistant steel (for example, MS24693-C26).

Start with the job. Structural screws carry load in primary joints, while machine screws handle general assembly. Compare head styles, thread types, and materials across aircraft screw types before you order. If your drawing calls for a different spec, see our AN screws or NAS screws.
